About the Author
डेल हरबिसन कार्नेगी एक अमेरिकी लेखक और व्याख्याता थे. वे सेल्फ हेल्प मूवमेंट के प्रवर्तक माने जाते हैं और सेल्स, कॉर्पोरेट प्रशिक्षण, कुशल वक्तव्य और पारस्परिक कौशल में प्रसिद्ध पाठ्यक्रमों के डेवलपर थे। मिसौरी में एक खेत पर गरीबी में पैदा हुए, वह ‘हाउ टू विन फ्रेंड्स एंड इंफ्लुएंस पीपल’ (1936) के लेखक थे, जो हमेशा से ही बेस्टसेलर रही है और आज भी इसकी लोकप्रियता में कमी नहीं आई है। उन्होंने ‘हाउ टू स्टॉपिंग एंड स्टार्ट लिविंग’ (1948), ‘लिंकन द अननोन’ (1932), और कई अन्य पुस्तकें भी लिखीं। उनकी पुस्तकों में मूल विचारों में से एक यह है कि दूसरों के प्रति हमारे व्यवहार को बदलकर अन्य लोगों के व्यवहार को बदलना संभव है।.
